When [[DrHyde]] visited in July 2009 there was no football on. The pub was busy but not packed, service was quick, the beer was good, and it felt friendly and welcoming. Beers were Gravesend and some local brew beginning with B, and there were Old Rosie and Westons ciders.

Town centre pub on Camberwell Church Street in Camberwell.

The pub is laid out internally for football, with sofas set out cinema-style. On secretlondon's visit in September 2008, there was an England match on later but they were showing a different game. The pub felt dirty and rough and there were very few women there.

It had four or five hand pumps with Old Rosie Scrumpy and another cider, London Pride, Gravesend Shrimpers Bitter and maybe another. I had a pint of Gravesend Shrimpers Bitter (£3/pint) which was poor and flat.

Accessibility: No steps to enter, toilets not checked.
