A large sports-focused pub in the Hamsey Green area just at the north edge of Warlingham. It overlooks the border of Surrey, but is located just within the London Borough of Croydon.
Sitting back off the road behind a large car park area, this place has a patio overlooking the busy main road. Inside, large wooden tables are lined up along the front window, with the bar behind, and a small, darker area with a pool table to one side.
The bar has three handpulls for ale, with Fuller's ESB and Westerham British Bulldog (£3), as well as London Pride (off on Ewan's visit), on a July 2009 visit. The pub appears to regularly offer a Westerham ale, as the brewery is based nearby. The beer was well-kept. Otherwise, draught options are fairly standard, and include Bulmer's cider.
There's a basic food menu, including a few vegetarian options, with cheap meals advertised prominently. Music was playing on Ewan's visit.
