Pub in Highgate. Previously owned by Mitchells & Butlers, it was acquired by Fuller's around the start of 2009.
Inside there's a series of little wood-panelled rooms, on many different levels with stairs between them, and often low ceilings. It has a large beer garden photo and possibly does mulled wine in the winter photo from 2005.
Ales available on pump in July 2008 included Landlord and Deuchars IPA (both £2.95/pint). In September 2008, these were Pride, Adnam's Bitter, and Broadside, with one of the five pumps off (the other pump had Old Rosie scrumpy). A large range of draught beers included Sierra Nevada, Meantime London Pale Ale, Leffe, Fruli, Hoegaarden, Budvar, Pilsner Urquell, Peroni, Staropramen, Franziskaner (£3.90/pint) and Aspall's cider.
Food is served noon-3pm and 6pm-10pm Monday to Friday, noon-10pm Saturday, and noon-9pm Sunday. A menu seen in September 2008 covered the usual range of food options, and was more or less identical to other unbranded Mitchells & Butlers establishments. A special Monday offer on wine was advertised, where any bottle was £10.
It can be assumed that food, beer, and wine options are subject to change following the Fuller's takeover.
