Even as the Liberties Bar, it's not really as bad as that name suggests, though it does get packed at peak times, and was entirely rammed downstairs on a Saturday evening in January 2009. It has a late licence until around 1am.

A pub/bar on Camden High Street.

For somewhere calling itself the Liberties Bar, this isn't really as bad as that suggests, though it does get packed at peak times, and was entirely rammed downstairs on a Saturday evening in January 2009. It has a late licence until around 1am.

However, if one visits at others times, there's a fairly large downstairs space, mostly open-plan, with a pool table and some comfortable couches as well as tables. Upstairs is a bookable function room, good for smallish clubs, though it can get warm.

Downstairs, they have a couple of handpulls for ale (Adnam's and Pride), as well as the usual lagers. Service is perfectly friendly. (There's a tiny bar upstairs with a couple of draught taps, but this doesn't appear to be used.)
