Kensington Roof Gardens

  • 99 Kensington High Street (streetmap)

Kensington Roof Gardens was a nightclub and restaurant with a large garden terrace above Kensington High Street. It closed down at the start of 2018.

The information below is retained for historical purposes.

Nightclub and restaurant with a large garden terrace above Kensington High Street. The restaurant is actually called Babylon. Seating on the terrace is first come first served; even if you book in advance, you won't know if you can sit outside until you get there.

Smoking is permitted on the terrace and in certain parts of the gardens, but smokers are requested to use the ashtrays rather than the flowerbeds. The gardens are open to the public unless booked for a private function.

Note that despite the address, the entrance is on Derry Street.

Venue hire: Can't do Saturday evenings, booked up well in advance (unlike bars which are only booked up about 3-4 months in advance)
