An Indian restaurant and takeaway in Mile End, one of a row of restaurants in this modern glass-fronted development under the Green Bridge.
There are plenty of tables inside this high-ceilinged space, which has a clean, modern decor in slightly antiseptic Ikea style. It's nothing particularly atmospheric nor offensive.
The menu itself covers a good range of Indian options, with a good sized vegetarian section as well. Food comes in at around £8 for vegetarian and £11-12 for meat dishes, so it's pretty pricy. However, everything is well-presented, there's a good portion of rice (which you'd hope for, at over £3), and the curries aren't too oily.
It's as good a bet as any in this area for a pleasant sit-down Indian meal, but the food isn't particularly remarkable.
