Pub on the river in Greenwich, part of the Taylor Walker chain (Spirit Pub Company).
A perfectly pleasant pub with lots of space and offering riverside views of the Thames, it's cosier and far less noisy than the Trafalgar next door. It also has a quiz machine.

On tap, The Yacht offers Greene King IPA and Pride, as well as a couple of guest ales. Lagers are Staropramen, Leffe and the other usual suspects.

On Ewan's September 2007 visit, the handpumps offered Greene King IPA and London Pride, as well as a couple of guest ales. Lagers were Staropramen, Leffe and the other usual suspects. There was a bit of overenthusiastic air-conditioning near the door, but if you can get a table overlooking the Thames it really is very pleasant indeed.

As of March 2014, food is served noon-9pm Mon-Sun from a chain-wide menu photo.
Food is served noon to 9pm daily. The menu (photo) is on the interesting side of standard pub food, including some more unusual options such as chicken and prawn skewers (starter: £4.70), chicken liver and heather honey pate (starter: £4.50), tuna and egg sandwich (£4.50), and mushroom risotto (main course: £6.60). The usual stuff is here too, for example nachos (£4.70), "posh" bacon, egg, and chips (£7.90), and fish and chips (£8). Filled jacket potatoes are £4.70–£5.

Note from Kake: Have now spotted this identical menu at a couple of other places, including Adam And Eve, SW1H 9EX in Westminster and Ye Olde London, EC4M 7DE in the City. I suppose that means it's part of a chain, though I can't work out which one. Also suggests that the food may not be as good as it sounds, being dictated by a head office rather than chosen by an onsite chef.
