Basic pub in Lower Clapton.

Kake et al. visited in September 2010 as part of the 38 bus route pub crawl. There was no real ale, so we had Guinness instead. There were a fair few people in, all watching the football which was showing on a big pull-down screen and one of the three normal TVs scattered around the place. Small bowls of crisps and snacks were laid out along the bar — it wasn't obvious whether this was a regular occurrence, or some kind of special occasion, or because of the football.

There are a few pool tables towards the back.

Accessibility: Small step up to get in. Some of the seating is on a raised dais. Step-free to toilets (ladies' at least) once you're in.
