There was some confusion with my order when I asked for the smaller goats' cheese tart and was then asked what I would be having as a main, so clearly this choice would have been small indeed (hence my selecting the larger tomato & mozzarella option). On the whole, it was a vibrant place, and service was efficient.

A bar and restaurant on Bermondsey Street, just south of Tower Bridge.

It describes itself as a "New York-style warehouse bar", and stretches back into a bare-walled space, past a bar into a rear room. There's another dedicated bar area up a few stairs to the right of the main entrance. On Ewan's visit, he was seated at some tables by the front window near the door, so didn't get to see the rest of the space, but the website advertises a large bookable function room area.

The menu changes on a regular basis and offers a variety of dishes photo of menu in July 2009, including a Sunday brunch set menu with two courses for £14.50 photo of Sunday set menu. Food is served noon-3pm and 6pm-10pm Monday to Friday, 11am-4pm and 6pm-10pm Saturday, and 11am-5pm and 6pm-9:30pm on Sunday.

Ewan tried a heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella tart (£13.50) photo, which was rather on the expensive side for what it offered, though was excellent quality, with a thin crispy flaky base and some fresh tomatoes (red and orange) and large chunks of mozzarella on top. Jo's scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on a toasted bagel (£6.20) was better value, and a good size.

A fresh peach bellini (£7.50) to start was tasty, and the meal finished with an espresso photo. There was some confusion with my order when I asked for a the smaller goats' cheese tart and was then asked what I would be having as a main, so clearly this choice would have been small indeed (hence my selecing the larger tomato & mozzarella option). On the whole, it was a vibrant place, and service was efficient.
