A Vietnamese restaurant on Liverpool Road in Barnsbury.

Inside this is a bright and airy space, laid out over a couple of adjoining rooms, as well as a rear garden. On a Sunday evening in July 2009, it wasn't too busy to seat four people, and Ewan's party were placed by the door leading to the garden area.

Service was friendly and approachable, and the house red wine was perfectly drinkable. They were happy to bring tap water as well.

Our food was served without undue wait, and Ewan's bun xa with tofu (£5.75) was a pleasing noodle-based dish, with good large chunks of tofu.

Ewan's verdict: Given the area, this is not only a good food option, but also good value.
