A large pub in Peckham. Formerly known as The Wishing Well Inn, it was renovated and reopened in Spring 2010, and is now a Capital Pub Company pub. It also has accommodation available.

The interior is comfortable, with floorboards, armchairs and sofas, and old books lining the walls. It has a large back room with a scattering of different-sized tables, as well as outdoor seating on the pavement.

There is a good range of beers on tap, including Meantime Pale Ale on tap, and several handpulls for ale (featuring London Pride, as well as ales brewed at their sister pub The Florence), although pints are fairly expensive for the area (£3.70 for Meantime in June 2010). The wine list is international and ranges from £15-£30, or £30-£50 for fizz.

The menu is European fusion and is quite good photo of menu in June 2010. Particular favourites were the chorizo scotch egg photo and a good-sized steak burger. Vegetarian options are clearly marked, printed in green with a "V" beside them, and include tasty breaded halloumi sticks with parmesan cauliflower puree. Prices for mains are £6-£10.

It is quiet and pleasant during the day but gets very busy and loud in the evenings, particularly when students from the Camberwell College of Arts up the road pour in on school nights. For a quieter alternative, try the Montpelier down the road.
