[[bob]] last ate here a few years ago; the food was fairly standard pub food, nothing too exciting. On a visit in June 2008, the food was okay, and in August 2009, [[Ewan]]'s nut roast (£8.50) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/55935853@N00/3860463110/ photo] was perfectly good, with mashed turnips and stuffing among the trimmings. Jo's melted brie sandwich [http://www.flickr.com/photos/55935853@N00/3859677065/ photo] was less satisfying for her, though the chips were fine.

Fuller's pub on the corner of Strathearn Place and Sussex Place in Bayswater, in the Good Beer Guide (and award-winning on Fancyapint, also supposedly Fuller's pub of the year).

There are a few seats outside for the nice weather, and inside tables are found at either end of the bar, with a rather narrow passageway leading around the bar between the two ends of the pub. There are interesting little function rooms for hire upstairs; one of them is almost like being in a private library.

It was quite crowded early on Thursday evening in June 2008, but thinned out as the night wore on. Several groups supposedly meet here regularly. On a Saturday lunchtime visit in August 2009, the place was still well attended, but there were one or two tables available both inside and outside.

Beer is standard Fuller's, all very tasty. They have five handpulls, with two featuring London Pride, and one each for ESB, Discovery and Chiswick. Draught lagers include Franziskaner, Beck's Vier, and Leffe.
