For Laura, the notable thing about the Star is the quality of its coffee - in my opinion it's the best in SE15, if not south east London as a whole. I often get a coffee to take away before catching a bus from the bus stop outside. 70p gets you a superior-quality Lavazza coffee with not too much foam.
Breakfast-wise, the selection is extensive if standard. The scrambled eggs are worth mentioning - fluffy and not at all greasy, just perfect.
