Kake visited on a Friday lunchtime and it was pretty empty. Youngs Bitter, Special, and Waggledance. Also Staropramen, if that's anything special. Special was 1.35 for a half. Nobody else there except three old men (not together). Music very easy-listening but not loud. Very much an old man's pub, I think. Signs on the front indicate a private bar and a saloon bar but it's one room inside. Oh, it turns out that the music is radio - Magic's Maximum Music Hour, whatever that is. Notices say no children in the bar at any time. |
