Oyster is accepted on all trains, but you can't buy an Oyster card at the station, or get Oyster problems sorted out at the ticket office.
Oyster pre-pay is *not* accepted on any trains serving this station, and there are regular ticket checks so don't assume you'll get away with it!

Accessibility: There is step-free access to all platforms, but no step-free transfer from trains to platforms. Indeed, the step is often quite substantial. The step is smaller towards the London end of trains.

Zone 4 rail station in South London.

There is a small caff on Platform 2, and another more expensive one but with a better range of food just outside the station. Newspaper kiosk in the booking hall. Taxi office outside the station on the right as you leave the main entrance. Bus stop on the left.

This is the nearest station to Crystal Palace FC's ground (Selhurst Park), so on home match days it can be very busy.
