Zone 4 rail station in South London. Almost all trains go from platform 1 (southbound, towards Croydon) or 2 (northbound, towards Victoria and London Bridge), with 3 and 4 only being used when 1 and 2 are closed for engineering works. There is a small caff on platform 2, and another more expensive one but with a better range of food just outside the station. Newspaper kiosk in the booking hall. Taxi office outside the station on the right as you leave the main entrance. Bus stop on the left, for routes 50, 198, 250 and 450.
This is the nearest station to Crystal Palace FC's [Selhurst Park] ground, so on home match days it can be very busy.
