Thai supermarket in Hammersmith, also stocking Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, and Malaysian groceries.
As well as things like Thai curry pastes and many types of fish sauce, it has the usual selection of instant noodles, sauces, and packet seasonings, plus sweet and savoury snacks.
Frozen options include tempeh, dumplings, ready-made yakitori, fish eggs, and plenty more.
Chilled offerings include several types of tofu, fresh wheat noodles, shirataki noodles, several types of kimchi, and fishballs/meatballs for Chinese hotpot. One fridge holds a few sweet treats such as pandan swiss roll and various flavours of mochi.
There's a good selection of vegetables and herbs too photo, including green papaya, water spinach (ong choy), banana and pandan leaves, pea aubergines, fresh turmeric and galangal, Chinese chives, and sweet and holy basil.
Kake's verdict: Worth a bit of a journey. I live near a large Wing Yip, but I found several things here I couldn't find there. I'd definitely visit Thai Smile again if I needed to stock up and was anywhere near West London.
