Decent Thai restaurant in Canary Wharf.

Kake and doop visited on a Wednesday evening in June 2008. Apparently the ground-floor bar serves pan-Asian food, but we didn't get a chance to find out, as we were immediately sent up the rather impressive staircase to the dining room on the first floor. We hadn't booked, but we got a table fairly quickly, after just a couple of minutes waiting in the small queue that had developed at the top of the stairs.

We ordered from the £25/person set menu photo, which gives you a dim sum platter to start, banana fritters with vanilla ice cream to finish, and one main course dish per person in the middle (from a choice of four) plus stir-fried mixed vegetables and rice or noodles. The food was fine, without being anything special; though for Canary Wharf this is actually above average. Service was fine too.

Kake's verdict: Would come back if I was specifically after somewhere to eat in the area. Wouldn't make a special journey.
