[[bob]] and [[elvum]] visited on a Saturday lunchtime in January 2012. The restaurant was about a quarter full, with customers of both Caucasian and east asian ethnicities. The decor was basic, with stacks of boxes in various places, but in no way unpleasant.

Shredded pigs ear in chilli oil (£8) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/6739012423/ photo] was very good. Dumplings with beef tenderloin (£9.50) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/6739048301/ photo] were also very good; the stock was very beefy and the beef very tasty. Fish fragrant aubergine (£7.50) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/6739026223/ photo] was fine.

Dan dan mian (£4) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/6739031239/ photo] was mixed for us at the table; [[bob]] has had better versions of this elsewhere. Chicken and dry chillis (£8) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/6738989187/ photo] was possibly a touch over-fried.

We also had shredded potato (£6.50) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/6738981617/ photo] and six Chinese dumplings (£4).

[[elvum]] (who does not consider himself to be an expert on Sichuan cuisine) found the food to be of good quality, and the servings to be generous.

Service was fine. There was a Mandarin-only specials menu, which we were unable to take advantage of, owing to an inability to read that language. However, [[Kake]] has [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/6739062597/ made a partial translation].

They also have several KTV (karaoke) rooms.

Accessibility: The toilets were cramped, but on the ground floor, with no steps required to access them. Access to the restaurant itself was also step-free.
