Upmarket restaurant and champagne bar, located on the upper concourse of St Pancras International station. The group has another restaurant in the Shard.

The spacious interior is art deco themed, with cosy low-walled booths in the centre surrounded by semi-private rooms, separated from the main area by curtains. There's a separate bar area near the entrance that has its own menu, and an (often rather chilly) champagne/oyster terrace outside on the concourse itself, overlooking the trains.

Kat visited with her parents on a freezing cold Thursday evening in November 2017. We hadn't booked, but only had a ten minute wait (seated in the bar area with our drinks) for a table. Laid back music was playing quietly throughout our visit. We opted for the a la carte menu, as the set menu only had Christmas choices (and it was still November). The vegetarian options were limited but of good quality - it's usually hard to get excited about quinoa but a starter of red fruit quinoa, avocado, spinach and pink grapefruit was unusual and genuinely tasty. My main of roast pumpkin and Shropshire blue risotto was even better - creamy and moreish, and I'm not usually a fan of blue cheese. My parents were very impressed with their mains too (venison with cauliflower puree, and bream with 'seaside' vegetables). Desserts were fine but less exciting than the mains. The wine list had a few reasonably priced options by the glass. The service was great - the staff were happy to answer questions about the menu, and made us feel very welcome. A carafe of tap water was brought on request. 3 courses with drinks and service came to £50/head (the Christmas set menu was £29 for three courses and a glass of champagne).

Kat's verdict: not cheap, but eating quality food in a very pleasant environment was worth the money in my opinion. My parents loved it and want to return soon.

Accessibility: step free throughout, with wide doors and corridors.
