There is a range of open sandwiches which can be added to a platter, mostly involving fish as might be expected. There are also a few vegetarian options. For an additional £1.00, you can add a potato salad on the side. Portions are small but filling, which also holds for the pastries (though for cinnamon buns, head to [[Nordic Bakery, W1F 9JF|Nordic Bakery]]). However, the coffee is excellent and presented in lovely mugs. In general, design is a strong feature of the Scandinavian Kitchen.

Scandinavian cafe/deli/coffee shop offering open sandwiches and flapjacks along with coffee from the Monmouth Coffee Company. Open from 8am on weekdays, so handy for breakfast; and the LRB review linked below suggests that the breakfast platter is well worth trying.

A three-item platter is £4.50, and a five-item platter £6.50; their website recommends the three-item platter for a "normal" lunch and the five-item version if you're especially hungry.

An anonymous visitor comments that the flapjacks are "fantastic", the coffee is "great", and the place as a whole is "good value for money".

Also stocks Scandinavian groceries including a wide range of herring products.
