A large live music and club venue near King's Cross St Pancras Station, on Pentonville Road.

The main space of the Scala has a raised stage area with a floor in front, and several levels of viewing areas around it. The sound booth is in the middle of the back of the room. It holds up to 1,145 people according to the website.

Upstairs there is the Glass Bar, which has a viewing screen and access to side balcony areas just above the main area. This tends to be used for VIP guests and is not generally open to the public during gigs.

The top level has a Balcony Bar with a second dancefloor area (when a club is on), a few booths at the side for seating, and a small balcony area overlooking the main stage space. There are images of these areas on the website.

Along with these bars, the main bar for the public is reached first from the lobby (where the security guards check bags and pad you down). It gets very busy during gigs, and there isn't a great selection of drinks available. Merchandise stalls for gigs also tend to set up in this space, and there is a cloakroom located here.

The box office on the ground floor by the entrance sells tickets to events with no booking fee.
