Historical version 1 of Salisbury, WC2N 4AP (view current version)

Pub on St Martin's Lane (parallel to Charing Cross Road), with an interestingly ornate interior and six handpumps.

On our April 2008 visit, the handpumps hosted London Pride, Deuchars IPA, Youngs Bitter, Bombardier, Timothy Taylor Landlord, and Wadworth 6X.

The barstaff were cheerful and friendly without being annoyingly chirpy; and one of our party noticed them being quite polite to some tourists who wandered into the pub in search of directions to "the theatres".

Toilets are down a winding flight of stairs lined with what look at first glance to be theatre posters but on a slightly closer (albeit slightly inebriated) look appeared to be, rather, themed wallpaper (if this is an erroneous judgement then Kake is the drunkard to blame).
