Chinese restaurant in Canary Wharf. Notable for the very good dim sum served (a la carte) at lunchtime, which ranges from the usual tasty dumplings to more exotic dishes such as duck's tongues or chicken feet.

doop says that vegetarians and vegans are well catered for. A peruse of the menu in January 2008 revealed three vegetarian options among the dim sum: vegetarian dumplings, vegetarian beancurd rolls, and vegetable cheung fun.

There's seating outside, which is very popular during the summer. Service can seem a smidge slow if you're sitting outside, but if you're sitting underneath one of the trees on a summer's day, you probably won't mind. However, it can become very busy at lunchtimes at any time of the year, and booking in advance is advisable.

Their website is Flash-based and quite maddeningly awful.

Getting here: Slightly tricky to find; it's half-way between the two road levels of Westferry Circus, at the level of the river-bank pavement. If approaching from West India Avenue, go straight across Westferry Circus and you'll see a set of steps going down to the riverbank level. It's just across the path from Canary Wharf Pier.
