It had a change of management and a complete refurbishment in April/May 2007 (so don't put too much store in reviews written prior to that).
There are beer gardens at front and back. As of summer 2010, they offer a whole roasted lamb for private parties in the back garden — see Will Eat For Money writeup.
As of mid-2010, food is served noon-10pm every day.
An advert in the July 2010 issue of the Full Pint newsletter states that children and dogs are welcome.
