Now mostly a sports pub with a big screen, but it does have real ale and interesting events upstairs, including acoustic nights, contemporary jazz and comedy. Formerly the Stoke Tup, and before that it was a trendy place with another name and sawdust on the floor. It has a small garden.

Last visit October or November 2007.

The FAP review suggests you can eat takeaways in the pub.
