Pub just off Brick Lane, and very convenient for pre- and post-curry drinks.
It's quite small and can be rather busy — in the early evening you'll be lucky to get a seat, although service is still quick and it's rarely uncomfortably full.
bob et al. have visited several times over the years, most recently in May 2011. They usually have two or three real ales on (Sharp's Doom Bar, Crouch Vale Brewers Gold, London Pride, ESB), and they serve a decent pint of Pride (£2.90/pint in May 2011).
