Pod is a small chain of lunch places for office workers, serving sandwiches, salads, hot foods, breakfast, and soups. They make a point of highlighting their environmental and health credentials.

This branch is the first one outside the City, and is located in More London, off Tooley Street near London Bridge. It's technically in "More London Riverside 7" — it's on the main shopping street, past Marks and Spencers and on the other side of the thoroughfare, past Larder. There are branches of Itsu and Pret next door.

secretlondon popped in the day after it opened to have a look. I had a regular Thai red chicken curry (£5.25), which was nice and had a generous amount of chicken. My fruit salad was fine but expensive (£2.60) and my carrot, apple and ginger juice (£2) was quite small and didn't taste that fresh; I doubt it was made on site. This came to about a tenner, which is quite a lot for lunch really. Nice chicken though.
