Comment added by Camberweller: This place used to be a really nice gastro pub selling burgers, steaks and so on but it closed down about six months ago. Since then it's not great - as the review says not a good pub and not a good Thai restaurant. a real pity.

A small Irish-themed architecturally-interesting pub on Camberwell New Road near Camberwell Green. It has recently re-opened (2008) and also does Thai food.

There is an area at the front that has green leather sofas and a log-burning stove, towards the back there is a dramatic skylight and a chandelier.

secretlondon visited in September 2008 and had a pint of Greene King IPA (£2.60/pint) photo. It wasn't from a hand pump, as the pub didn't have any. The server confirmed that the pub was independently-owned and wasn't a Greene King pub.

Thai food is served from noon-10pm. I didn't see anyone ordering any whilst I was there. They also do Sunday lunch. Signs say they have live Irish music from 6pm-9pm on Sundays and a choice of whiskies.

secretlondon visited again in October 2008. They only had Greene King IPA and the usual lagers. All the bottles were also the usual. I had some food - pad ga praow (£5.50) photo. It was okay but quite a small portion. There was a jukebox playing random music.

I think if you want Thai Food go to a Thai place, and if you want beer go to somewhere that sells decent beer. This pub has a poor choice of beer.

Accessibility: Accessible toilet with hand rails.
