"Noodle and dumpling bar" just around the corner from Angel Station, part of a small chain.

Kake and bob visited on a Monday lunchtime in October 2007. We started with the starter platter for two (£10) photo. Although the guotie (pan-fried dumplings) included in this were cooked competently enough, with a decent crust on the bottom, they were folded so badly that two of them fell apart on being lifted.

bob's noodles were pretty good (their website says that they make their own). Kake's "three treasures lao mein", ordered from the cheaper lunch menu photo, was a large portion but fairly flavourless (possibly related to the lack of MSG also advertised on their website). However, the onions, green peppers, and aubergines were individually very well-cooked; the aubergines in particular had a melting texture with some good browning on the surface.

Service was fine, and they happily refilled our teapot at no extra charge.

Bob, Dean, and itsbruce visited in November 2008 and found it no different to the above experience.
