[[bob]] visited on a Thursday evening in June 2010. There were a few customers already in when I arrived at 9pm, and a few more arrived while I was there.
[[bob]] went for the Nambu Special dinner(£36). This consisted of some very good but uninteresting sushi[http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4711430198/in/set-72157624176724441/ photo]. A very tasty seafood and mushroom soup served in a tea pot[http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4711430472/in/set-72157624176724441/ photo],[http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4710789299/in/set-72157624176724441/ photo], [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4711430688/in/set-72157624176724441/ photo]. Some very well executed tempura[http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4710789543/in/set-72157624176724441/ photo]. Although the batter could have been slightly lighter. The skewers consisted of squid, prawn, a delicately cooked scallop and some salmon. The meal was finished off with some a plate of fruit consisting of two bits or orange and some honey dew melon. Green tea was free and regularly topped up.

I went for the Nambu Special dinner (£36). First to arrive was a set of four nigiri; tuna, salmon, squid, and cooked prawn [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4711430198/in/set-72157624176724441/ photo]. The quality was very good, though I felt the selection of fish was a bit uninteresting. Next was a very tasty seafood and mushroom soup served in a teapot [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4711430472/in/set-72157624176724441/ lid-on photo], [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4710789299/in/set-72157624176724441/ lid-off photo], [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4711430688/in/set-72157624176724441/ photo after pouring], followed by tempura [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4710789543/in/set-72157624176724441/ photo]; this was very well executed, though the batter could have been slightly lighter. The final savoury course was skewers of seafood served on a bed of beansprouts, with miso soup and rice on the side [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4711431410/in/set-72157624176724441/ photo]. The skewers consisted of squid, prawn, a delicately cooked scallop, and some salmon. The meal was finished off with some a plate of fruit consisting of two orange segments and some honeydew melon. Green tea was free and regularly topped up.
