Indian restaurant in Bermondsey, not far from Tower Bridge.

It can seat about 20 people, and it also does takeaway and delivery. Takeaway prices seem to be a little cheaper, judging by a comparison of a takeaway menu picked up in July 2008 and a photo of the eat-in menu taken in May 2008. They are licensed to sell alcohol to take away until 11pm.

Bob visited on a Monday evening in July 2008. I was the only customer to start with, but another couple turned up while I was there. Poppadoms were fine, and meat samosas (£2.50) were okay. The kaalia gosht (£8) was very tasty and very warm. The pilau rice (£2) was not your normal food coloured stuff, and the keema naan (£2.75) was also above average. For some of the dishes you can specify how hot you want them.

The desserts were the prepacked frozen ones from Aroma you see in a lot of Indian restaurants. The mango kulfi was fine.

They offer a two-course set lunch for £7 (eat-in), and a "special lunch box" from £4.50.
