Chinese supermarket on Gerrard Street in Chinatown. As well as rice, canned goods, dried goods, etc, they also sell fresh vegetables and have a proper butchers' section. I believe they sell fresh fish as well; can't remember.

Also noteworthy as they have a (small) Japanese section; as of May 2007 this was located at the back of the bit with the butchers in (although the sushi rice is across the other side of the shop) — Kikkoman soy sauce, sushi vinegar, nori, wasabi, miso soup, etc.

They have a reasonable noodle section including (as of April 2011) the slightly-obscure mung bean sheet noodles (粉皮/fěn pí).

Last visited by Kake, April 2011. Opening hours taken from sign on door, March 2010.
