Vietnamese/pan-Asian supermarket near Hoxton Station.

They also have branches in Leyton and Kingston, and as of autumn 2012 are in the process of opening another in Walworth. All branches also include an Aobaba concession, which here takes the form of a banh mi (Vietnamese baguette-based sandwich) and bubble tea takeaway stand.

It's a reasonably large store, well-organised and clean. The stock is quite varied, covering ingredients from a number of East/Southeast Asian cuisines such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese. As well as food items, they sell homewares such as sake flasks and rice bowls.

On Kake's September 2012 visit, notable items included: fresh ho fun and cheung fun; salted and preserved duck eggs; interesting fresh herbs and greenery such as cynanthe flowers and sliced banana blossoms; frozen fish such as catfish, pony fish, and tilapia; frozen offal including beef lungs and duck tongues; tempeh; and many different kinds of frozen dumplings.

They also had a wide variety of soft drinks such as nuoc yen and aloe vera drink, as well as bottled beers/lagers such as Sapporo (Japanese), Tsing Tao (Chinese), and Bintang (Indonesian).

Accessibility: Four steps to get in (with handrail).
