| Although Ilford is well within the Travelcard zones (its main station is [[Ilford Station]], in zone 4), and part of the London Borough of Redbridge, many of its inhabitants consider it to be part of Essex rather than part of London. It has in fact only been part of Greater London since 1965, according to the Wikipedia link below.
