Zone 2 DLR station on the Lewisham branch, situated at the southern tip of the Isle of Dogs.
Unlike most DLR stations, Island Gardens is underground; this is because it has to go under the river, heading southwards.
Its most notable external feature is the distinctive ventilation shafts which rise above the station photo.
