Back-to-basics Indian restaurant specialising in South Indian food at low prices, located on the second floor of the Strand Continental Hotel. Reviews on the interweb are rather mixed; I suspect it's a love-it-or-hate-it kind of place. Certainly worth a go, though. The set menu (not mentioned on the actual menu) seems to be widely recommended — and the naan disrecommended.

The hotel bar on the floor below is also open to non-residents, and according to Pubs Galore comments (linked below) as of December 2012 the staff will get you drinks from there if you like.
