A cafe in East Dulwich, serving all home-made food, which opened in June 2010. Inside there is seating for about 10 on stools around a counter, with a further 4-5 regular tables outside on the terrace.

Laura and Matt visited on a Sunday in July 2011 for lunch/brunch. Arriving just after 1pm, all the outside tables were occupied with couples and families, so they sat at the counter. Matt and Laura both ordered the Welsh Rarebit with extra ham (£5.95), two coffees (and Americano (£1.80) and a flat white (£2)) and a slice of carrot cake (£3.70).

The rarebits were very good, served on thick slices of what appeared to be sourdough bread, accompanied by hand-sliced ham, home-made caramelised onion chutney and garlic mushrooms. The very substantial slice of carrot cake was also excellent, having appeared on the counter newly frosted as we were eating, and was baked that same day.

The menu is extensive, mostly featuring breakfasts and light lunches; for example quiches, ploughman's lunches, pancakes etc. There is a selection of coffees and teas, and a separate children's menu. They also stock (non-home-made) chocolates, preserves, cooking ingredients etc.

Access is step-free. We did not note where the toilets are, however.
