What is this?

It's a kind of database, kind of review site, used for documenting interesting places in London. Want to find a sushi restaurant near a cinema? Just use our category search. Want to find a Good Beer Guide pub within 500m of Waterloo Station? Just look here.

We're always adding new location data, but we've already got all the Tube and DLR stations, all the Good Beer Guide pubs, and all the cinemas. Major changes and additions to the site will always be viewable on the News page.

This is not, and never will be, a commercial guide. It's a grassroots thing, set up for the benefit of its contributors. You can use it too, if you like.

Our major obsessions are pubs and restaurants. We're also quite interested in places that are vegan-friendly.

How to use it

Basically do what you want, but if in doubt you may wish to see the not-very-strict House Style Guidelines. Here are some easy ways to contribute.

We have a map of everything on this guide. (Warning: it takes a while to load. We have over 700 pages with location data, and that link grabs the data for every one of them and sends it to Google maps.)
