Pub in Hampton Wick. It also has four "boutique" hotel rooms.
Entry is into a small bar area with an unusual black pleather bar and a display of old radios on the gantry above. To the left of this is seating, part of it in a small, cosy, dimly lit side room with red velvet banquettes around the walls and a red draped-fabric ceiling.
To the right of the bar is a restaurant area, decorated in a somewhat gothic style with candles in dribbled-wax wine bottles, a cracked but ornately gilt-framed mirror, dark upholstery, and a black draped-fabric ceiling. Most of the tables here are ready-laid with cutlery and napkins, but a couple are left free for drinkers. Just off this space is another smaller room seating around 10 people, with a curtain that can be drawn to separate it from the rest of the pub.
The handpumps were clipped for four real ales: Park Killcat Pale (£4.50/pint), Wimbledon Copper Leaf, London Pride, and Twickenham Autumn Red (4.50/pint).
According to the Foresters Arms website as of October 2018, food is served 6pm-10pm Tue, noon-3pm and 6pm-10pm Wed-Fri, noon-2pm and 6pm-10pm Sat, and noon-6pm Sun (no food Mondays).
Child-friendliness: According to the Foresters Arms website as of September 2018, children of all ages are permitted in all areas until 4pm, but after 4pm the bar area is restricted to over-21s and children of 10 and under are not allowed in any parts of the pub; also, prams and pushchairs are not permitted without prior notice.
Accessibility: A small step to get in, about an inch. Step-free to toilets once you're in.
