Viennese restaurant on the Northern end of Marylebone High Street, owned by the team behind the Delaunay and Brasserie Zedel. It's open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

While it opened in 2014, the decor inside almost convinces you it's been around since the 1930s. It's a lovely space to dine in, with art deco lines and polished wood/tiled surfaces, and most of the seating is in spacious, comfortable booths. It felt nice and cool on Kat's visit on a hot August lunchtime, and quite calm compared to the busier restaurants further down the High Street.

Kat enjoyed her Wiener schnitzel (£11) and mash (£4.25) but probably could have gone for the larger option (£20). The wursts (£11 for 2) were great though, huge and flavoursome with a good smooth texture. We had four different types: the best was the Berner Würstel, which came wrapped in bacon. There is a good range of European wines by the glass - a decent enough Riesling was £8. Service was friendly and attentive, if a bit confused at times.

Kat's verdict: Good value for the area, although I'd order more side dishes next time. My parents loved it though!

Accessibility: no step to get in. I didn't check the toilets. Lunch bookings can be done via email without having to confirm by telephone. Child-friendliness: the website states that there isn't enough space to accommodate buggies or prams.
