Randomness Guide to London - Differences between Version 5 and Version 3 of Everyman Belsize Park

Version 5 Version 3

It's an outpost of a small, boutique (and expensive) cinema chain. It used to be known as the Screen On The Hill.
The Everyman in Belsize Park is one of those London places you’ll feel smug you discovered. From the Space Odyssey-esque décor in the bar, to the insanely comfortable seats in the Screening Lounge (every seat reclines, and has its’ own suede cushion and little side table…) there’s nothing these guys haven’t thought of. They offer table service to the whole auditorium, with a good cocktail list and a deli selection (goats cheese tart, stuffed chillis…). Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the films, and they stop service just before the movie starts. Oh, and they play short films in front of the feature, while the staff bustle around with drinks and olives. My new favourite cinema.

An anonymous visitor (April 2009) tells us that the bar has "Space Odyssey-esque decor", and that the screening lounge has reclining seats, each with its own little side table. Our anonymous friend adds that there's table service to the whole auditorium (a "good cocktail list" plus a "deli selection" of goats cheese tart, stuffed chillies, etc) — this runs through the shorts which are played before the main feature, and stops just before the main feature screens.
