Wetherspoons pub in Chadwell Heath, in the Good Beer Guide.

The building used to be a police station. The main part of the pub is double-height, with a mezzanine balcony (reserved for diners only) around the top. Seating is on several levels, and includes booths, sofas, and banquettes.

The bar has around a dozen handpulls for ale and cider. On our October 2013 visit the ales were Kelham Island Pale Rider, Summerskills Bravo Zulu, Adnams Lighthouse, Everards Tiger, Peter Bouckaert New Belgium Pale Ale, and the usual boring brown ones (Ruddles etc). The ciders were Westons Old Rosie and Thatchers Cheddar Valley. A pint of lime and soda was £1.05.

Child-friendliness: There were several children in on our October 2013 visit. There are baby-change facilities accessed via the accessible toilet.

Accessibility: Steps at the main entrance, but there's a ramp around the side. There's a RADAR-locked accessible toilet on the ground floor. Other toilets are up a flight of stairs with a sturdy (but studded) handrail. Much of the seating is up or down some steps, but there is some on the level.
