El Paisita was a Latin American restaurant on Newington Butts at Elephant and Castle, underneath one of the blocks on the (now removed) southernmost roundabout near Castle House. It has now closed. Some time around late 2010/early 2011, the premises were taken over by another Latin American restaurant called Donde Lucho.

The information below is retained for people who want to know what it used to be like.
It is small with wooden tables and seats. There was a television in the background playing Latin American music. There were also people sitting outside, and there were stairs going up which may have been extra seating.

It was good value and filling. The atmosphere made secretlondon think this was authentic Latin American food for the local Latin American community.

secretlondon would certainly come back but maybe with some research and a dictionary. This may not be good for vegetarians though.

There was a television in the background playing Latin American music, and judging by the atmosphere I'd say this was authentic Latin American food for the local Latin American community. I'd certainly come back, but maybe I'd do some research first and bring a dictionary. I might avoid bringing vegetarians though.
They may do takeouts and delivery - the cards had "servicio a domicilio local" on.

They will deliver locally, according to a sign seen in the window in May 2009.
