Fairly busy overground rail station in Croydon, in Travelcard zone 5.

Trains run from here into central London (Victoria via Clapham Junction and the Thameslink routes via London Bridge) and off in the other direction to places like Brighton. There's a tram stop and a taxi rank just outside, and a number of bus stops just across the road.

Station facilities include a small branch of WH Smith, Timpson's, Costa, Upper Crust and Burger King at the concourse level, and a selection of platform cafés and coffee stands on the platforms themselves. There's also a branch of Boxpark right next to it (a food-and-drink focused mall made from shipping containers).

As of mid-2012 there's also a double-decker bicycle parking facility.
