Recently refurbished, the upstairs room has a reasonable amount of seating and large windows to let in the daylight (downstairs remains quite murky). The staircase is very narrow though - not enough room for two people to walk past each other carrying pints, for instance. |

Unfortunately, on Spring 2009 visits [[Kat]] has found the ale to be adequate at best (IPA) and stomach-upsetting at worst (Speckled Hen). Recommend opting for a bottled beer or a Guinness instead.
