The bar has three handpulls for ale. At the time of our February 2009 visit, London Pride and Adnam's were the regulars (though the latter was off), joined by one guest ale. When we visited in July 2013 there were two ales on; Adnams Fat Sprat and one other (which we omitted to note down, but which looked interesting). They also have Leffe, Staropramen, Franziskaner and the usual suspects for lager drinkers, plus a good range of bottled beer.

Accessibility: A small step to get in. Step-free to the bar, most (perhaps all?) of the seating, and the toilets once you're in. There's an accessible toilet which doubles as a baby-change facility.

A pub in Finchley, just around the corner from Finchley Central Station, part of the Mitchells & Butlers Castle sub-chain.

Despite its shop-front appearance at the ground level of a large office block, this is quite a cosy and attractive space, with large tables at the front, stretching around the bar to the back of the building. A large-screen TV shows sports in the back area, but sitting in the front is fairly sheltered from this. They also have some couches with low tables to match, and candles on the tables provide ambience. On a Saturday early evening visit, there was plenty of space still available for our group of six to sit down inside.

They have additional seating outside on the street, with plenty of tables (some under the awnings), for smokers.
