Estate pub in Bermondsey/Rotherhithe, just to the west of [Southwark Park]?. There's some outside seating on a little patio, and a pool table in a separate room at the back. The main bar has a couple of quite comfy leather sofas.

Kake and doop visited on a Saturday evening in November 2008. There were only about half a dozen other customers, and most if not all of them seemed to be known to the lady behind the bar. No handpumps, no real ale. Strongbow was £2.80/pint and Tayto crisps were 60p. A music channel was playing on the TV; at times, the speakers seemed not to be quite adequate to the volume, as there was a certain amount of rattling.

There's no real reason to come to this pub. It just happens to be across the road from our house, so we thought we should give it a go. Kake might well pop in again for a pint on the way home, though.
