Street market in Poplar, very close to All Saints Station on the DLR. A number of veg stalls selling interesting herbs and vegetables (chillies, beans, long thin aubergines, okra, leafy things, etc); at least one fabric shop (Jannah Fabrics); a halal butcher (I think anyway); an Eastern European food shop (Polvital); and various other stuff (gloves-a-pound-a-pair, that sort of thing).
The market isn't actually on Chrisp Street, but in a purpose-built pedestrianised square.
