As a personal recommendation/anecdote, we bought a c.£700 mixing desk from them in 2004 (they gave us a good discount from the displayed price). After using it for several months we found a 'bug', which we initially thought was a blown circuit, but was actually a design flaw. They negotiated with Yamaha on our behalf and had it fixed free of charge and VERY conveniently (even offering to supply us with a spare if we needed it whilst ours was away) and the desk came back in record time. In my experience this level of service is VERY unusual in music shops. --[[Richard]]

Chappell's is a historic music shop now based on Wardour Street in Soho.

More than just a curiosity, they are also an excellent music shop, providing a very high level of service and after-sales care. They specialise in pianos and some orchestral instruments, but also have a very good range of professional audio equipment (mixing desks, speakers and other PA equipment). They are also a very good bet as a centrally-located Yamaha main dealer, as well as stocking guitars, digital drums and sheet music.
